Amy grew up on a farm in central Alberta. Her passion for sports and healing led her to get a diploma in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University and a degree in Kinesiology from University of Calgary. Upon graduation from University and her father's passing she moved back home to help out her mom and spent the next 1.5 years healing and working outside her intended field. Once ready to move back to Calgary, the confidence had wavered and she decided to pursue a second passion, cooking. A Journeyman and 8 years later, she found her way to Reiki while working in a restaurant, when she connected with her soon-to-be Reiki Master. She quickly attained her level I, II and Masters levels in Reiki and describes finding Reiki as "finally finding the puzzle pieces to her life and being able to put them together". Throughout her healing and learning process of Reiki she discovered her passion for helping others find balance as well as the development of her natural intuitive abilities. To further develop her ability to help people find balance in their lives she enrolled in MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in September 2014 and will graduate with 2200 hours Massage Therapy in June 2016. Using her Massage, Athletic Therapy, Kinesiology, Reiki, and Raindrop Therapy with her intuitive abilities Amy has found a recipe for a unique healing experience for Adults and Children.
What does Aeyric mean? It's the combination of two names Amy (owner, practicioner) and Eric (owner's deceased father). The company's first location was found suddenly on January 7, 2014, 10 years to the day that Eric passed away, an amazing gift enabling Amy to follow her dream!
